Where to Buy Streetwear in West Virginia: Charleston & Huntington Mall
Share
Search "streetwear near me" from anywhere in West Virginia and you get a mess. Mall stores carrying the same three brands they carried in 2015. Resale listings from a stranger's living room. Big retail sites that'll happily ship you something that fits nothing like the photo.
If you actually want current streetwear in this state, you don't have to guess and you don't have to leave. We've got two stores, and here's the honest guide to both.
Two JetLife locations in WV
Charleston — 216 Leon Sullivan Way
Our flagship. Downtown Charleston, WV 25301. This is the deepest inventory we carry — the full denim wall, the full tee wall, women's, kids', footwear, hats. If you want the widest selection and the most one-off pieces, come here.
Huntington Mall — 500 Mall Road, Suite 245, Barboursville
Inside Huntington Mall in Barboursville, WV 25504. Easy in, easy out, free parking, and you're already in the mall. If you're in Huntington, Barboursville, Milton, or coming across from Ashland or Ironton, this is your store — no reason to drive to Charleston.
Both stores: (681) 523-9658 · Open Monday–Saturday 10am–9pm and Sunday 12pm–6pm.
The problem we set out to fix
It's not that people here don't want streetwear. It's that the retail never showed up.
Brands allocate inventory to markets with a track record. No stores stocking it means no track record, and no track record means no allocation. It's a loop, and West Virginia was stuck outside it for a long time. That's why people from here spent years driving to Columbus, Pittsburgh or Cincinnati, or ordering blind and eating shipping both ways when the fit was wrong.
Two stores later, that's not the situation anymore.
What's actually on the racks
Denim and stacked jeans
The deepest selection in the state, and it's not close. Jordan Craig (135+ pieces), Valabasas, Serenede, Guapi, Purple Brand, Cult of Individuality, Ksubi, KDNK. If you want stacked jeans, this is the destination — 55+ pairs on the rack.
Graphics and tops
Godspeed is our top-selling brand overall. Plus First Row, Paper Planes, Hyde Park, Saint Vanity, Homme Femme, and a tee wall that runs to 500+ options. Hoodies and varsity jackets when the weather turns.
Women's
Real women's streetwear, not an afterthought rack in the back. Sugarhill, Ed Hardy, two-piece sets, jackets, shoes, purses. Over 300 pieces in the women's collection.
Footwear, kids and accessories
Sneakers and boots, a hat wall with 150+ options, PSD underwear, and a real kids' section — because parents kept asking.
Which store should you go to?
Rough drive times, so you're not crossing the state for no reason:
Closer to Huntington Mall (Barboursville):
- Huntington — about 15 minutes
- Milton — about 15 minutes
- Ashland, KY — about 30 minutes
- Ironton, OH — about 30 minutes
- Point Pleasant — about 45 minutes
Closer to Charleston:
- Charleston metro — you're there
- Beckley — about 1 hour
- Logan — about 1 hour
- Summersville — about 1 hour
- Parkersburg — about 1.5 hours
The two stores are about 45 minutes apart, so if you're in the middle it's a coin flip. Charleston carries more, Huntington Mall is easier to park at.
Why come in instead of ordering
Straight up: denim is hard to buy online, especially stacked denim. How a stack sits depends on your height, your build, and what shoes you've got on. Two people in the same size can get completely different looks out of the same pair.
In store you try three pairs back to back, see which one hits, and walk out with it that day. No shipping wait, no return label, no guessing. And we'll tell you honestly if a fit isn't right for you — a warehouse can't do that.
Check New Arrivals before you head out so you know what just landed, and call (681) 523-9658 if you want a specific piece and size held.
How to spot fake product
Worth saying, because a lot of people in this state have been burned buying online.
- The price is the first tell. Real Purple Brand denim at $80 does not exist. If a deal looks impossible, it is.
- Check the stitching and hardware. Authentic denim has clean, dense stitching and branded buttons and rivets. Fakes cut corners exactly there.
- Look at the seller. A physical address and a phone number mean somebody is accountable. A drop-ship page with stock photos and no location means nobody is.
- Watch the photos. If every image is a manufacturer render and there's not one real photo of the actual item, that's a flag.
Everything we sell is authentic. We buy direct, we handle the product, and we've got two buildings in West Virginia you can walk into if something's wrong. That's the whole difference.
Can't make it in?
Everything on the floor is on the site with real photos and live stock counts — browse what's in stock now. We ship anywhere, and in-store pickup is available at either location if you'd rather grab it in person.
Not sure on sizing? Call us before you order. We fit people in this stuff every day and we'll tell you straight whether to take your normal size or adjust.
The short version
You don't have to drive out of state anymore, and you don't have to gamble on a website that's never touched the product. It's here — in Charleston and in the Huntington Mall.
